Since 2001, the MIT Technology Review  has  increased their name in world and release list of  10 most important innovations of technology every year. The editors selected technology innovation and each item is based on its good potential to make change in the world. Previous years lists included many innovation which is based on smart watches , agricultural drones,  grid computing , additive manufacturing , brain mapping, ultraprivate smartphones,wireless sensor networks, neuromorphic chips,  and mobile 3-D. The 2016 list is more exciting than previous list which can change the world.

IMMUNE ENGINEERING

Scientists have developed “TALENs” which is method of a gene-editing which help to make changes to DNA in living cells. These useful genetically engineered immune cells are used to save the lives of cancer patients and also help in lead to new treatments for HIV and autoimmune diseases which are like arthritis and multiple sclerosis. The Scientists researched and discovered that they are able to gain control over T cells in a person’s blood stream and also by using a virus, they could add full new DNA instructions which used to aim them at the type of blood cell that moving awry in leukemia. The Scientists are now also looking at creating a new “universal” supply of T cells which can made from blood donors but edited to exclude the receptor that T cells is use to seek out the foreign molecules.

CRISPR is new method of gene-editing which provides a precise way in helping to modify crops to yield more food, more effectively resist drought and disease in plants. Before 2015, the expensive rockets was only functional for one flight before burning up at start. Now they are able to make an upright landing and can be refueled for another trip. If more rockets can land safely on earth and can be reused then the cost of spaceflight could be lowered and helps in providing incredible opportunities for more space travel in the future time. The first two successful companies which are successful  in landing a rocket are SpaceX and Blue Origin.they bring their rockets down on earth fold-out legs, a trick that requires onboard software to fire thrusters and to manipulate flaps that slow down the rockets at precise moments which helps in safe landing.

Robots can perform advanced jobs which can help us in many ways, they need to learn,how to recognize and handle common objects in their surrounding. They also need access to reams of data on,how to grasp and manipulate objects in their surrounding.This data comes from painstaking programming But this process can become much more easier, if robots that learn tasks then send that knowledge to the cloud for other robots to access later and in this way all robots can learn more. Capabilities of robots could also accelerate dramatically, if each type of machine didn’t have to be separately programmed.

Since 2014, electric-vehicle maker are building their cars with front radar, camera, ultrasonic sensors and digitally controlled brakes for an extra fee. In 2015, Tesla has sent a software update to 60,000 cars which was built with these features to enable autonomous driving which helps alot. The car can be now manage its steer, speed, change lanes, and also park itself which help us. The autopilot can be activated or shut off using touch screen and can also turn off by pressing the brakes in car. This could limit crashes of car caused by human mistake every day.

POWER FROM THE AIR

Wireless devices throw signal power and communicate through near-by radio signals such as WiFi. This could eliminate need of batteries or power cords which are used for power. Internet devices which are powered by WiFi and other wireless signals can make small computers and sensors more pervasive,so wireless signals is very useful.In the future, temperature sensors, security cameras and smoke alarms might never need to change their batteries.
